To my Father,  I am intelligent, knowledgeable, educated and I continue to learn more and more about the world and life every day.

I am not a ‘ding a ling’ who needs to get the phone. I am not one who won’t or doesn’t understand because I’m ‘not too bright.’

To my Mother,  I am strong because of my sensitivity and I am strong enough to recognize what it takes to live my own life.  I see the world as clearly as I can because I look with clear eyes and an open mind.

I am not weak or weakened by my sensitivity.  I am not someone to be pitied.  I am not a victim.

To my sister Bonnie,   I am awake and in charge of my life and make informed choices.  I love you and am committed to our relationship as sisters, forever.

I am not just the youngest sister and I am not going back to sleep.

To my sister Mary,   I live in the horizontal realm.  I reach out in different directions and gather as much information as I can to make a decisions that are right for me.  I am largely who I am and have the family that I have because of you and your influence in my life.

I am not as insecure as you see me.

To my daughter Hannah,   I am willing to recognize my mistakes and learn from them. I am open to learn from you as much as you want to teach me.  I am open to hear you and see you and change because of you.  You make me a better person by being who you are.  I love you more than I realized was possible.

I am not perfect, not even close.

To my son Jacob,  I have faith in you and believe in you. I don’t need your protection and, I deeply love your care.  I am strong and independent and will do anything to help you succeed.  I am your rock and will always be here for you.  It’s not the other way around.  Live your life as you know is right for you.

To my life partner Neil,   I am willing to live our life as if every day is an opportunity to grow.  I live every day with you as an opportunity to grow.  I am with you every step of the way.

I am not afraid of risking everything for you, for us and for our family.  I already have.  I love you from my deepest place.

To my soul sister Meade,   We are bonded for life.  You have enriched my life totally.  You are a part of all of us and we are family.

I am not going to let anything get in the way of our friendship. I am not going to take you for granted or forget to love you.

To my Gestalt Community,   I am on a path that is long and full of obstacles.  I want to keep moving forward.  I am by your side as long as you want me there and I ask you to continue to walk with me.

To one of my heroes,  Hillary Clinton,  What you believe in and have spent your life fighting for is worth the fight.  I vow to continue.  I will fight the battles for my daughter, my sisters and for all women.  We are all worth the fight and need to keep going.

To my tribe of All Women,   I am going to use my voice,  my brains and my heart to do what I believe is right for my self,  my family and for all who have lost their voices along the way, or never given the chance to use them.  I am a voice of courage, strength, resilience and determination and I am not giving up.
